BER|IN

Berlin is fascinating, not just in terms of its chequered past, but for the numerous layers that intermingle and juxtapose together in bringing together the potpourri of a city.

During the masters program, I elected to explore the city within the city. My experience in the week long exploration of both sides of the city and the variance that I observed formed the basis of this self published zine. Formatted as a vertical A4 spread with images cutting across the spine, symbolic of the erstwhile divide that gave rise to dissimilarly similar phenomena on both sides of the wall.

The name of the zine plays on this physical, political and social line — one, whose effect still reverberates in the lives of people.
